Get started with our CrossFit Beginners Course
Get started on your CrossFit journey with us here at Strand CrossFit. We believe in technique first, followed by intensity. This way we can ensure that all our Beginners are prepared for the workouts and lifting sessions later on!
Our Strand CrossFit Beginner Program allows everyone to learn the technique that is needed to participate in any CrossFit session. We will ensure that everyone understands and can perform every movement from a scaled option right through to the advanced, both safely and correctly.
Our On-Ramp Program is a 4-week program. It involves 6 sessions over two weeks, with each session focusing on the fundamental movements of CrossFit PLUS 2 weeks of CrossFit W.O.D’s. This program is designed to have you progressing into the regular daily W.O.D in just four weeks!
The Strand CrossFit Beginner program is designed and suitable for ALL fitness levels.
There is no need to worry about anything than your motivation to get started. Throughout the course you gain experience and skill in:
- Cardio: running, biking, rowing, skipping
- Weighted movements: using barbells, kettle bells, wall balls
- Olympic weight lifting: cleans, jerks, snatches
- Gymnastics using body weight: push ups, pull ups, handstands, sit ups
